I've read the first 2 chapters only so far and it's been about the "silent or secret rapture". It's basically not even biblical at all. I actually read somewhere else that said the teaching of this has only been around for the last couple hundred years. Hmmmmm Seems like another of Satan's deceptions to me. Anyway this book is pointing out the Bible verses that most silent rapture people point to for their "proof" of it being true. LOL. Without going into the specific verses I'll just say that they don't even come close to what they say they do. There's nothing in the Bible that says God's people will quietly vanish, at any moment, and leave their clothes left folded. There is only going to be the second coming, that's it. I'm posting a pic that describes what that will actually be like.

Yeah, I find the same problem with most books I read. They sometimes make a lot of statements without much evidence or documentation to support their statements. You just have to be a total skeptic and see what they have to say, and how well they support their positions. I like when they leave lots of notes with citations so I can go to check out their references myself. Guess we have to remember, people are selling books. They may be good or not so good. Keep us posted on other things you pick up from book. I will share stuff too on the book I am currently reading, and eventually get to your past postings/messages with some feedback. Haven't gotten the phone app to work yet, but can work on desktop til then. Tadow!
